which mouse should i buy?
Good day people
I currently have a coolermaster sentinel advanced gaming mouse. It is 3 years old now and it's time for an upgrade. I have been looking at mice such as the corsair m65 and the gigabyte m8000x. Do you think this is a upgrade or do I have better options
thanks

It is china battery. See a size number of rechargerable lithium? They are china size. I don't dared to use those battery because of explosive risk but it is okay, because I'm self-learn electrical engineer
I know..hence the ";-)". I said I made a mistake. No worries.

Wireless mice/keyboards. A solution looking for a problem... Not worth having if you ever play MMORPGs or online games where "losing control" unexpectedly is a problem.
Haven't had a problem with my wireless mouse, but I'm too chicken to try a wireless keyboard. Just not happening, since the cord stays in place for my kb. Mouse is another thing altogether though. There's nothing like the freedom of a quality wireless mouse that's as responsive as a wired one. Wouldn't trade that for anything. Well, maybe a Titan Black, but that's not happenin' either! :-P
Don't wireless mice have some lag too?
ok, doesn't the battery life go out pretty fast too?
I do not recommend Saitek mice or keyboard for use with anything other than Windows and I have no opinion on their use with Windows.

I know of a patch for the Linux kernel which allows some of the RATs and their successors to work without confusing X, but I know of no such thing which allows their keyboards to work fully.

What do you mean? Who say OP is using Linux?

I've never noticed any lag, not with the Sidewinder X8 anyway. It's just as responsive to me as any wired mouse I've used over the years. But, it's not like I buy a new mouse every 6 months either, so I haven't used a ton of them to have a good statistical pool to draw data from. I've had this mouse 4 years. I have used 4 rechargeable batteries in it since I first hooked it up (I just put the 4th battery in just over a month ago), so I'd say battery life is pretty good. Sure, the rechargeables are more expensive, but I think it pays off in the end.
Interesting. I've always just bought wired mice because they're cheaper. Plus, I don't have to deal with batteries and paring. I can just plug it in and go.
Same here. I had a wireless setup once. That was enough for me. The cables are a lot less hassle than the batteries had been.
Yeah I had wireless mouse few years ago too. Batteries was constant pain and it lagged in MMO's. Plus the batteries seemed always to run out in the most critical part of the game doing maximum damage to the game progress :P.
Never again, good wired mouse is just much less hassle.

Yeah, I always wondered what happend to gamers when their batteries died on them lol.

Also, why do gamers get wireless mice? Because they never leave the mousepad.

Yeah, maybe the expensive ones like G700 would work better but something like this is little too expensive for my taste.

That would be G700s, not G700, because there is new version of this series. I have it too M510 and has to use USB Extension Cable. It will lag unless I make sure there is no radio interference between mouse and usb receiver. If metal, wood, fan, etc. get in middle something, it will lag. For G700s, lag can still happens since receiver are smallest, good news is there are charger cable that can be use as wired mouse.

After switching back and forth a few times, after having played for awhile with a wireless one, I could feel the difference...noticeably. Now, I don't like gaming with a wire attached to my mouse. Even that little bit of resistance bugs me. I've got the speed Goliathus mousepad, and with the smoothest mouse feet for my mouse, it glides across the surface but tracks true. And even if my battery indicator starts blinking that it's getting low charge (it will still work for several hours) I can just move the cable end near the tip of the mouse and it auto-attaches magnetically. Perfect for me.
