So your processor is a bottleneck and your video card is at least 2 years old and not even the top tier in the 600 series.
If you want to play latest games on ULTRA you need ENTHUSIAST level components (like the one i mentioned, the intel i7 4770k and then 780ti from nvidia)
understanding bottleneck
wtf is bottleneck? and i7 is waaay too expensive. the graphics card isnt that bad cmon, and what games these days use over 8gb ram?
i love that guy btw. he explains everything xD
Then you just wont be able to be able to run most newer games on max. First off, you don't neek the K version of a Haswell CPU. Those are designed for overclockers. And you don't need a 780ti either. Take a look at a 760 instead.
You'd only need an i7 if you were doing tons of Video Editing or Compression. Games won't make use of Hyperthreading and it ends up being wasted money and power if all you do is game.
An i5 is all you realistically need, they have enough power to feed higher end GPU's.
on a scale of 1 to 10 how many would you give to the gpu and cpu?
and i paid 590 euros for that set up.. is it alright?
True, I've got i5 3570k at 4.4Ghz stable, I don't do any video editing so hyper-threading would be wasted on me.
But you do need a strong graphics card. 760 is for medium details, 770 for high details and 780 for ultra details. So your 660 is already quite outdated for all of the new games that you want to play on ultra :)
Like I said, it's mid range. Not weak but not God-like either. Did you build it yourself or have it built by Cyberpower or some other company?
and no a "friend" built it, and he recommended (|for the price of an xbone) the hardware i currently have, and showed y'all
i always wondered, i presume youve all seen the games on consoles right?
comparing.. lets say bf3 on console and pc right? how high do the settings have to be on pc, to look just like bf3 on console?

cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
itll open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here
cpu: if you want it straight, fx6300 is as good as an i3
mobo: if its a msi amd board, its junk
http://www.overclock.net/a/database-of-motherboard-vrm-failure-incidents
ram: 1333 is fine, most is cl9 which is ok, lower the cl = better (cl7 is about as good as it gets)
also if its 1.5v, it can be used in an intel 1150/1155 board if you decide to upgrade
gpu: gtx 660 is still a decent gpu, should handle newer games at mid-higher settings
