haha gtx 770 beating a r290 what an absolute joke....

anyway....

the cheapest r9 290 is £320 and is really quite good high end gpu for the money.

there isnt anything really on the nvidia side thats worth it atm the cheapest 780 that i could find is £360 and its slower than the 290

green team is better drivers and ease of use, red team give you more raw power. green team has physx, red team has raw power. get the most expensive card you can buy with whichever team you enjoy more.

tell that to the masses that have to revert to drivers like 314.... amd drivers are as good as nvidias, the only reason i went for an nvidia gpu (the gtx 690) is because it has an excellent tdp (only 300 for 2 gpu's) and 3d vision, i would have bought a 290x otherwise.
