Okay maybe more then a yes or no answer I just want to know what the situation is on the game running capabilities
_I_ 21. úno. 2014 v 2.39
no

no real specs, other than the gpu
amd 8000s are oem and worthless for gaming
dual core cpu = intel pentium g, or amd dual core
neither are very good for gaming (beyond source, which is not high end)

use cpuz and post a validation url
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validatin button -> submit button
itll open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here

No, you have a low end graphics card that isn't good for gaming.

Can you play things like:
Team Fortress 2, Counterstrike Source (& maybe CS:GO), Halflife 2, DoTA 2, Age of Empires HD, Mount and Blade: Warband and other less demanding titles on some level or another?
YES

Is it a good gaming computer?
NO

If you already own this what can you do to make it better?

1) Check your PSU to see how many watts it is and all the other information about how many amps & watts per rail.

2) Get a new graphics card. This is your biggest problem with that system. If your PSU can deliver 300w or more continous power you should be able to pop in a GTX 750 ti without a problem. That's the only graphics card upgrade that I would recommend that probably does not involve buying a new PSU. For a more powerful card you will very likely have to change your PSU. Though if you have at least a 450w PSU with solid 12V rail delivery then maybe you can look at some other cards that are more powerful than the GTX 750 ti such as a R9 270 or a GTX 660. WIth 500w+ with solid delivery you could look for something even better.

2) A) Buying a new PSU with enough power to run a good gaming graphics card is not that hard nor expensive. You can usually find a 500w 80 Plus Bronze PSU with 2-3 year warranty for about $25-$30 after mail-in rebates. If you are looking for a little better quality & more power you can often find a 550w-600w 80 Plus Bronze with a 5 year warranty for $30-$50 after mail in rebates. You can get a 650w to 750w 80 Plus Gold PSU from $60 to $120.

3) Build your own system next time because prebuilts are terrible and that machine is less capable for gaming than a Xbox One or PlayStation 4 but it probably cost you more than one. In the future you should know that you can build a decent gaming computer for far less than any manufacturer would charge you and hopefully for ths same or less than a console if you are on a budget.

No, card and CPU are too low for high powerered games.

Thanks for taking the time to explain things to me appreciate it I will buy a new graphics card at some point. I ran assasins creed 2 and fallout3 with no problems at all it ran perfectly.

i3 4130 is decent for gaming with a mid gpu
but the amd radeon 8000s are very low

1600 cl11 single channel ram is horrible all the way around
even in dual channel its slower than 1333 cl9 (generic ram) kits

Not all Radeon 8000's are bad, it depends on model number. In example the HD 8970 is a rebranded HD 7970 GHz Edition.

they are oems, which are nerfed in one way or another

Yes OEM, no not nerfed. Compare to HD 7000 series above them.

no dual core cpu you need at least a quad core cpu.

i3 is a dual core hyperthreading, so it can handle 4 threads and is perfectly fine for gaming - performs somewhere between an AMD bulldozer based quad core (dual module I mean) and an i5

Your gpu isnt that great, also you should get a quad core processer.
If you build/get a PC for next 3-5 years quad+ is the way to go. The difference in price is little between dual and quad so you'll have to worry only about your GPU in the future.

quad core min and a nvidia 700 series 760 or higher or R9 from amd
