Hi everyone
A couple of months ago I've updated my OS to Windows 8.1 and problems with drivers have come...
I've got an Asus K55VD
- Processor Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40 GHz
- 8 GB RAM
- OS 64 bit, processor based on x64
- Graphic card Intel® HD Graphics 4000; NVIDIA GeForce 610M 2 GB
Here's the main problem:
When I play a game, after a few minutes I started, my laptop crashes and a blue screen appears with an error message: irql_not_less_or_equal igdkmd64.sys.
I know what it means, it's a problem related to the graphic card.
I've tried to update all the drivers and uninstall and reinstall them, but the error still occurs.
I can't play anything because of this and I don't know what to do.
Do I have to wait until the next OS update?
If there's another solution, please tell me.

The only thing you stated is you tried to update the drivers. You didn't say you uninstalled all the old driver files that may still be there.

it may also need a bios update

as others have said update your drivers from the manufacturers site rather than nvidia. i had similar irq errors with my gpu a while ago.

Faulty RAM can be a factor also with those kinds of blue screens

I can't install the latest video card update because appears an error which tells me that I can't run the installation because I haven't the minimum system requirements.
I don't know why, beacuse I found the update by automatic identify; I also searched manually, but it's the same: the error keeps appearing.
