You can buy it now. They're only selling it for a limited time though.

It was easy to install but at the same time it was a pain in the butt because of how cheaply made monitors are. Here's a vid:

Anyway, the AOC is supposed to have a better picture quality over the Asus and BernQ once you adjust it ( although all three are far from perfect. I'd recommend icc profiles and adjusting the display itself).
Tracefree feature on Asus can make even lower input lag so if youre into FPS games, I recommend for getting Asus.
Not sure about those other monitors though, but im sure they will do better in some cases (like Colour etc.)
In my case, a single GTX 680 pulls out about 71-144 FPS without any tearing. Some have reported that asus monitor causes bad tearing no matter what the fps and hz are.
At least my monitor works perfectly with absolutely no tearing, playing every game with vsync off.
There aren't magic monitors that give you less tearing than others with the same refresh rate so I don't know what those people are talking about.
I also have a vg248qe and I went from a very old samsung 2233rz 120hz and to be honest the colours on the vg248qe are bad, and the backlight is so retina burning bright at stock that its unusable.
Luckily you can download an icc profile for it to make it slightly better.
I personally bought the vg248qe for 3d vision 2 (which is excellent) and a gsync module when they are sold in uk
