So m getting this new rig
Processor : i5 4670
Motherboard : asus h87-m-e
Powersupply : Cm gx2 650 watt
Ram : 8 gb
Harddisk : 2tb WD
Case : Thermaltake commando gs3
Graphic card : his hd 7850

IS IT ALRIGHT?

looks good but i may have gone with a gtx760 as i am not a fan of amd cards and the 7850 is now replaced by the R series i think

Go with an R9 270/ 270x instead of the 7850, also you don't need a 650w power supply. The Max draw of an R9 270 is 150w and the max draw of that locked processor is 84 watts, factoring everything else you should never use over 280w (under max load) even if you overclock the R9 270 (goes to around 165-170w draw).

You cant even crossfire with that board because it only has 1 PCIx16 bandwith slot, so you cant add another card to make use of the huge excess of power.

So either save money and buy a 450-500w 80+ PSU, or buy a motherboard capable of crossfiring another R9 270/ 7850 in the future to make use of all that power.

For reference I am running an FX6300 @ 4.5ghz and a 7850 (40% overclock on the core, 18% on memory), 8gb 1600mhz ram, 1 SSD, 1 HDD etc and I never draw more than 320w under max load.

me has many bad power supplies

they may pass some quality checks, but their ripplie is known to cause issues

The only psu available here is coolermaster or thermal take + i dont even understand the tests in the link u provided

rail voltage +/-10% is the atx spec
keeping it within 5% is what they should do
good psus are within 1-2%

Out of those two, the Corsair GS600 is the better option.

They're basically the same, but the R9-270X is clocked slightly higher and correspondingly uses more power. This means that the 270X needs two 6 pin pcie power connectors whilst the 270 only needs one.
