Is the GT 1030 good compared to other low-end GPUs and iGPUs?

I have a Gigabyte GT 1030 GDDR5 2GB OC GPU in my system. Is it still good?

only exception is the vega 11 igpu, which is slightly stronger in some tasks

the mobile 1030 will be weaker, but still stronger than mobile igpus

as for other dedicated gpus, the 1030 is the weakest of the current lineup

similar performance to nvidia gt940, 750 (non ti), 660, 570, 480, gtx 295
and amd rx 550, r7 360, hd 7770, hd 6850, hd 5850

but with newer (more) command sets

Unbelievably how low end this gpu is today. its on ranking 195 which means there are 194 different faster gpus in theory.

It's generally behind a GTX750ti so it would fall behind the R7 260x as well.

In my opinion, people underestimate my GPU too much. I have been able to run War Thunder at 1080p high 40 - 50 FPS.

I have little lower but this is because Vega 8 is weaker against higher resolutions

Even 4K is feeling like 5-10 fps in desktop

Overall, I would give the GT 1030 an 8/10.

At least you can use GT 1030 to run Tensorflow on for Deep Learning without headaches, and OpenGL Games and Emulation all on Windows without having to switch OS.
