Steam deck, Steam OS and 3rd party DRM
Does anyone know if you will be able to use Uplay, Origin, battlenet etc. using the steam OS, or is that only possible if we install windows. Thanks.

yes just go to desktop mode
steam os is linux so you have access to firefox for installing other apps

remote play does not support hdcp, so any protected content will not stream to it

but it can play most games by itself

Yeah thats What I will use it for, I already have a gaming pc just want this for long trips.

Will probably have to install & use Lutris[lutris.net]. Works fine for me w/ Uplay and GOG Galaxy, and sort of fine w/ Origin (downloads tend to drop).
