Hard Wired PC and Xbox but Always Recieve NAT Type Strict
Like the title says, I recently hard wired both my PC and my Xbox. When I use my normal wireless internet, I get NAT type open, but when I use the hard wire, I get NAT type strict. I'm not sure why this is happening as being directly plugged into your router/modem should make your NAT type open at all times, I would assume. I don't know what of this information is helpful, but here's some background information about my internet setup:

-There's three floors where I live, and every floor has a router
-I am on the top floor using the top floor's router, and the modem and hub is on the lowest floor
-My router I use is fairly close to me, approximately 15 feet maybe
-All the routers on every floor are Netgear routers
-My internet service provider is TWC (Time Warner Cable), and I have the highest possible subscription for internet services
-Having only the PC, only the Xbox, or both in any combination hard wired always results in NAT type strict
-The router itself that I use is a business router that is able to support a LOT of media devices, and only a couple other people use my router at the max, and even when no one is using it the NAT type is still strict
-Upon hard wiring my PC or Xbox, it says that it is connected to my downstairs router (I know because it displays the name of my downstairs router)

I don't know a whole lot about routers, and ports, and IPs, and whatnot to any level of expertise, and I don't know if any of the information I gave helped, but any help would be much appreicated. I really would like to get this working, and I'm not sure why it isn't.

Your NAT type of strict when wired is because the router connecting to the ISP will always do NAT to give you one routable IP address for the Internet. What problem are you having?

The problem is that when plugging the wire into the wall for the PC or Xbox results in a strict NAT type, despite my NAT type being open when using wireless internet from my router on either platform

What problem is that causing?

Oh, that's is what you meant, my apologies. The problem it is causing is (for example) getting kicked from games due to lost connection, or occassionally the inability to load up pages on the internet.
