Outtake: top case
i should think its getting plenty of air since i put the side fan on, before it was 84'c on the top card and 72 on bottom.
my cards fans dont start spinning till 65'c so i think that is a factor in the top card temps.
I think i was just abit worried since i was used to 1 card running at 69'c and never above, i am well within the cards safe limits, i may just pop afew ice cubes under the fans :)
I wish MSI had backplates.....
a solution would be to use a reference card for the top so it blows air out the back of the case, not circulating air between the cards
or get a case with side fans to blow cooler air between the cards
I was thinking about getting watercooled cards, but the hassle and the cost of getting a full water cooled rig is not worth the effort or extra hours i would have to give my workplace. and i cant really put anymore hours into work since i have a very tiring 1 year old and a stressed out mother/GF when i am back haha.
So don't worry about these temps unless you are going over 90C.
Note:
I overclocked my cards gpu's to 1300Mhz but the cards puch themselves even higher to 1390Mhz, when the temp reaches 80C on the top card the cards lower their clocks to around 1340Mhz.
