Does my Motherboards PCI fall in line with these graphics cards?
Hello
Just need some last minute confirmation/advice on a purchase I'm planning to make. I believe my PCI/PCI-E configuration is correct for the models I'm looking at. Here's the Mobo data below:

http://us.msi.com/product/mb/H61ME23_B3.html#hero-specification
(The BIOS isn't fully up to date; don't want to risk flashing)

Here are the two cards in question. Originally, I was only looking at the single slot, but the other recently fell in price as well! Haven't taken a look at it, so offering it merely for comparison's sake. The price difference is purely negligible. I will also provide links to both of their official store pages below:

EVGA GeForce GT 740 Superclocked Single Slot 4GB
http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-2744-KR

EVGA GeForce GT 740 4GB GDDR5
http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-3748-KR

Additional information to consider:
3.10 gigahertz Intel Core i3-2100
128 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache
3072 kilobyte tertiary memory cache
64-bit ready
Multi-core (2 total)
Hyper-threaded (4 total)

I have a PSU (have to dig for name again for future discussion) that I believe is 350W. While the power draw is only 64W for the Single slot, it does come with a reccomendation of 400W. I'm assuming that's if a burst of energy usage occurs not intended by creators?

Thanks for time.

I have a DVI-D and a VGA slot on this particular computer's monitor I'm working on. The computer itself has an HDMI, DVI and VGA Slot.

if you put in a dedicated gpu do not use a monitor on the mobos video ports

Err, say that again? I must be deathly sick today so im too slow for this.

You use the GPU's video ports, connect them to the monitors ports via a cable. That is correct.
Wouldn't you theoretically use a DVI-D male and input into a DVI-D female? Or do something similar with VGA counterpart? (SC model doesnt have VGA itself)

As far as I can see this will work. Though I would like to recommend that you try and find a single slot GTX 750 or better yet a GTX 750 ti. The GTX 750 ti will barely keep up with a Xbox One (though not a PS4 graphically) and your CPU might even be inferior so a GTX 750 ti would really be the best possible for your system unless you want to upgrade the PSU.
