Warning to those wanting to Clean Install Windows 10
So i found this out the hard way..

I wanted to test Win10 on my Netbook, so i installed the media on a USB drive and did a Clean install

Only to find out that, you MUST Upgrade your OS to Win10 in order to get a Win10 key THEN you can Clean Install Windows 10 and use the key given to you.

YOU CANNOT do this without UPGRADING to Win10 First.
(Unless of course you got a Win10 USB i.e Paid for it)

So in short

If you want to clean install Windows 10 via the Free means to do so you must UPGRADE to it first, either via the icon on the task bar, or by downloading the Media Creation Tool from the Microsoft site and initiating the Upgrade that way.

When you Upgrade, you recieve a Key, and with that Key you can format the HD and Clean Install Win10 using a Disk or USB drive and then use that key to activate Windows..

I found this out the extreme hard way.. Luckily i was able to use my desktops Win7 disk to install it on the Netbook and use my Netbooks Win7 key to activate Windows.

I almost screwed myself because i cant find my netbooks original Win7 disk.. Luckily i was able to resolve my problem in the manner above..

So be careful guys..

And i will say this, CLEAN INSTALLING is the Best way to Install Windows 10, when you over write an OS while keeping your files and such, you never know if something will cause performance issues, whether it be Drivers you installed in the past for Win7 or Win8 but them still being left behind.

Many people have been having performance issues after Upgrading to Win10, this is most likely the cause.

Hope this helps someone not make the mistake i did, a little research goes a long way.. But then again, Microsoft could have made it easier.

I have a *P* windows 7 all versions on a bootable disc but i dunno if it's 32 / 64 bit on there... when i boot on it and select install os it just goes to a default windows background with a lower resolution and then it stays that way :(

Cuz i see so many ppl with windows 10 issues on these forums lol
We know people with problems are usually more vocal.

If we're to have everyone who is using 10 right now to write a review, it's more than likely the amount of 'it's all good' threads are gonna crash the Steam servers.

Update: Installing windows 10 Home now :D I chose to keep nothing (delete all files & settings so it's like a clean install) I did it by downloading a *P* windows 10 32-bit and then mounting the .iso with Daemon Tools Lite. :)

I want to make this 7 year old pc as fast as possible because it has gotten frustratingly slooow >_>
