What about your power supply? That's about the most important thing you can list here.
If you only have a 300 watt power supply, then you can't use anything greater than a GTX 750 Ti unless you upgrade the power supply as well.

600W Power Supply

better gpu will help but not by as much as you'd think

the mobo is holding back the cpu
the 760/710 board was designed for aii/pii and modded to run fx at nerfed specs
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/M5A78LMUSB3/specifications/

and do not overclock 125w cpus with that board
http://www.overclock.net/t/946407/amd-motherboards-vrm-info-database

if you plan on upgrading the cpu/board in the future, go for the best gpu you can afford for not and live with the cpu bottleneck

what brand/model power supply?

Atrix Ax-600Exb I think thats it (I read it off the power supply)

I am planning on upgrading in the future more and Can I ask what does bottlenecking do? (I know it loses performance I think)

Any reccomendations for a CPU & Mobo to get once I get the GTX 970

upgrade the psu when you get a better gpu
gtx 970 does not take much power, but a poor psu can kill components

upgrade the cpu to any i5 and compatable board
on the cheap, i5 4460 and b85 about $200
or 4690k and z97 board for overclocking about $250-300

for bottlenecking cpu, first with vsync off, if you turn down graphic settings, aa/af/res and fps does not go up
the cpu is not able to give the gpu enough info to keep up

Is the PSU upgrade necessary cause I am on a budget but I could upgrade it in the future?

i5 6600k is $270 alone
no imporvement over i5 4690k for $50 more isnt worth it

get a psu before it kills stuff and you need to rebuy the entire pc

a quality 550+w psu is not as much as youd think

most are around $60 and $5-25 rebates

Only like a few percentage imrpovement. But I think the i5 6600k will become cheaper in the next few days.

its new, id doubt its price will drop, more likely the 4690k and z97 board prices will fall first
