Kaspersky: Never used it.
McAfee: The worst Antivirus software in my opinion. I have had bad experiences with McAfee Antivirus and I will never use it again.
Besides that you should have these too:
- ESET Online AV Scan (yes it can remove infections too)
- Malwarebytes; Anti-Malware, Anti-Rootkit, and Anti-Exploit
but McAffe is like avira (♥♥♥♥)...
Lol, my thoughts exactly.
OP, do some research and pick a paid AV that does well in independent testing.
The 'best' AV changes from year to year, just pick one of the best performers from your research.
My only other advice is to NOT rely on Windows defender alone, its not designed as a real time scanner(apart from not being any good at detection).
I use Trend myself and recommend it to my customers, but thats my personal preference.
Kaspersky is good, but you would be hard pressed to find many people that think the same about Norton.

McAfee (Intel Security) I'd avoid it to be honest. I know a lot of Isp's and banks give it away for free...

Kaspersky is pretty solid, never had a problem with it, Eset is a another good AV.
