MX-4 or Silver 5; either one is very good.
Artic Silver 5 is good but im looking to go the distance and squeeze out as much heat dissapation as possible. I'm not overclocking either, just want a cool running system.
Also i'm looking into non conductive TIM. No reason in particular other then its the new thing going on with TIM.
Water cooling is not something I'm considering in anyway
So which compound has more heat dissapation?
I asked which was better at what it does, not for someone to tell me to use my free will.
It will ultimately come down to your heatsink, fans, overall cooling and airflow; even ambient room temp you run the system in. Changing from one thermal paste to another isn't gonna work magic.
The Case is a CM HAF 912[www.newegg.com] with as many fans crammed in it as possible.
The heatsink and fan is a CM V8 GTS[www.newegg.com]
Now that we have that out of the way, what TIM will REDUCE temps the most?
Thank you. It shows the GELID GC-Extreme is the top preformer. Gonna get me some.
