However, LGA-1151 will all use DDR4; so that's something to think about.
For example if u already have some good quality DDR3 RAM, u may want to just use LGA-1150 setup and re-use your current RAM.
Now there are talks in reference to a few boards being released that have 2x DDR3 DIMMs and 2x DDR4 DIMMs; so people on tighter budget can make such a transition without being forced to go buy DDR4. So you want to watch for those Boards.
However u can't mix DDR 3 & 4; u simply use one or the other.
Skylake doesn't require DDR4, you can also use DDR3 DIMMs. http://wccftech.com/skylake-dual-imc/
Oh cool didn't know about that :D Good so the OP can still use his Kingston DDR3 sticks.
