I also have wddm 1.3, and not 2.0. i dont have any updates for windows and as far as I know, My coputer can support DX12. Any Help?

i guess dx12 features are only for high-end new products and not for GT 630M. (i could be wronmg though).

i read somewhere that nvidia 900 series and amd 200,300 series are dx12 compliant. some gpu models can access all dx12 feaureswhile others have limited dx12 feature only. idk what is limited feature-compliant vs full compliance.
Keplar and Fermi are only able to support parts of DX12. Maxwell and future cards will be the only ones that can fully utilize DX12.

I am having the same problem. I have upgraded to Windows 10 Pro and it came with Directx 11.2 and not 12. Intel says my chip is fully compatible so perhaps its my AMD graphic card Radeon HD 8650M 2GB is causing the non DirectX 12 upgrade? Not sure, but I've been looking all over the web for an answer. Let me know if anyone knows why upgrades to 10 pro does not product Directx 12?

What do you mean 'the same problem' DX12 isn't used in anything at the moment.

I guess it's the fact that for some cards DXDiag doesn't show 12.0 & 12.1.
Example of card that supports all levels currently: http://i.imgur.com/l9WJMP8.png

Read this and move on.

http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/207598-demystifying-directx-12-support-what-amd-intel-and-nvidia-do-and-dont-deliver

This has been spun into allegations that AMD doesn’t support “full” DirectX 12. In reality, Intel, Nvidia, and AMD all support DirectX 12 at various feature levels, and no GPU on the market today supports every single optional DirectX 12 capability.
