Mouse not working, no mice work!
Hi, so this problem happend a few weeks ago.

I was playing then my computer crashed since it was very hot in my room then all of a sudden my mouse just stopped working. I tried unplugging it and plugging back in but didn't work.

I restarted my computer several times but nope. I checked in the control panel when the mouse was plugged in (I was navigating with my keyboard) so when I went to devices and mouse I checked it but it was not detecting the mouse at all but the mouse was lit up and everything. It was turned on.

So I tried a different mouse and the same thing happend, it just didn't work. When I tried a terrible razer brand mouse it worked just fine. The mouse I'm trying to work is an iBUYPOWER and a CMSOTRM mouse.

I also tired plugging it in different usb slots but it didn't work.

This is VERY strange, 2 mices don't work but a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ old razer mouse works? The left click doesn't even work half the time.

Can someone please help me! I'm a not a computer wizard too so please bear with me.

What's wrong with Razer exactly? I've been using the Deathadder and new Chroma Deathadder for over 7 years combined...not one issue.

Really?

IBuypower's mouse is a budget mouse all day. That's like buying a Walmart Brand mouse. Cyberpower and Ibuypower's in house budget gaming mice are usually free or less than 10 bux as an add on during a custom build for a reason....
Have you tried your mice on a different computer to confirm if they even work?

Yes all of them work on a diffrent computer.
Have you tried other things in the USB ports? Flash drive? External HDD? Just to make sure that they can be detected?

Well I tried out an xbox 360 controller and that worked and my headphones too.
Odd. Seems the PnP is working as it should be on the computer then. I can't say I've ran into this kind of issue before. Hopefully others can chime in with any other possible suggestions.

try this:

Just go to device manager -> HID-devices -> Unknown Device (the one with the problem)
and search for drivers. ie *update*
When prompted for how to search for driver software, select “Browse my computer for driver software”

Enter “C:\windows\winsxs” for the driver location and press the “Next” button.
If you get a popup saying “this is an unsigned driver…”, just allow Windows to install the driver.

oh another thought... I know its stupid but try it in a different usb port

if the above doesnt work, uninstall the hid and restart system..!
