Do I need to uninstall old AMD drivers before updating?
I'm gonna upgrade my AMD drivers to 15.7. Do I have to manually uninstall the old ones first? or can I just run the installer?

Everyone says different stuff on the internet, I just want a straight awnser, Is it nessessary to manually uninstall the old drivers first?

No. Most installers will remove and update as they install the new drivers. Unless the installers tells you to uninstall the old drivers assume it will do it for you.

Usualy there is no need to manualy uninstal drivers before instaling new ones, but if issues come (sometimes it may happen) it's best then to manualy uninstall drivers and install clean.

Also do I need to disable my antivirus and / or firewall before installing?

I don't think there is need to disable firewall, but some antivirus software can be so eager to act that you end up needing to turn it off when installing; not too common though.

OK if my antivirus does get upset during installation will it break anything?
