SheepShaver Mac OS 9.2.2 issues
I want to run Mac OS 9 in SheepShaver on my laptop (running Windows XP) I’ve gotten SheepShaver to work and have myself an ISO of Mac OS 9.2.2 and when I launch the application it says in Mac OS 9 that “this startup disk will not work on this Macintosh model. Use the latest installer to update this disk for this model” any suggestions?

The MAC your are trying to emulate is not supported by the version of MAC OS you are trying to run.

I am not familiar with SheepShaver, but check if it has any settings which define which Macintosh it's trying to emulate.

I’ve found the issue, I need an older ROM file, specifically Mac OS 9.0.4 or earlier.

I’ve played around with it and I got it to boot into Mac OS 9 but when I try to install Mac OS 9 it crashes.

I got it working finally, I have to manually select it to open and everything works and Mac OS 9 is installed.
