My RTX 2070 works great with my Ryzen 7 2700X and 3200MHz RAM, it still works great with my Ryzen 9 3900X, same RAM speed
I tried using the 3600MHz RAM and it wouldn't display anything despite being 'compatible' so 3000 or 3200 should work fine
Decent enough combo, what Motherboard though?
If you ask me it is fine.
You can look up how similar systems score on benchmarks compared to other combos on 3DMark

You can find the links and do the benchmark yourself with instructions from this thread

This will give you an idea about what you should expect from the build
I'd get a B550 board instead

Ok so think long game here.... for now the 3600 is a decent chip but it might not last as long as you want it to, if this is the case it will leave you in a position where you may have to buy a new motherboard to upgrade your CPU to something that suits your need, if you go with a B550 for slightly more cash then you will have better upgrade options without needing a new Mobo, just my 2 cents, of course if you think it is not worth it then that is up to you.
ye i get you, thanks for the help.
But now, the combo is pretty decent right? i was looking for a i5 9400f but it´s mobo is just ridiculous in price
People seem to forget that 400 series motherboards will get a BIOS update to support Zen3 (a one-way update, can't be reversed, and will probably remove support for at least 1000 series CPUs to make room in the microcode for Zen3), so if B450 or X470 is all that's available or you find something for a killer price, the only real harm done is that you don't get PCI-e 4.0 support, which is pretty much useless for 99.9% of users anyway.

AMD said it within a week of saying that it wouldn't support Zen3, because of the outrage.
