Colour Banding? I dont know. I'm so frustrated.

Okay, so basically im getting what I think is colour banding, on pretty much everything. I see it on my steam, my pictures, my videos and my games. Pretty much anywhere there can be colour banding, then it will be there. I don't think its my monitor because I showed my friend a screenshot and they could also see the problem. I have tried various AMD drivers, even after uninstalling my drivers, And before reinstalling them, the problem persisted. Any ideas on what this could be, I will display screenshots if needed.

If u can see it in screenshots on another system; then it is a GPU issue; not your monitor.

Yes, that's what I suspected. Do you know what the solution could be? Other than changing drivers.

try a different monitor
or move the monitor to another system

if it stays with the monitor, its the monitor
thats often the sign of a bad ccfl
which can be changed if you have a friend who can solder or do electronic repair
