For gaming...what is the best Android tablet...bang for the buck?

I currently use a Dell Venue 8 Android and I love it...but its time to upgrade.

What would you suggest?

The best would be the 7'' Tegra Note 7 from EVGA. Or the nvidia shield, but that's a game controller.

Well, technically there really isn't a "gaming" android tablet. Since all new android phones and tablets can game easially.

I don't know of any good ones, but the minimum requirements I suggest you have is that the tablet have a nvidia tegra 4 (or snapdragon equivelant) cpu so you get the best gaming expereince. Then (obviously) the screen size you want.

That tablet does look awsome, with a higher resolution than 1080P games will look really good. Does it have a tegra 4 though? You need at least a tegra 4 to get good fps at that resolution.

I would recommend the nexus 7 or 10, excellent tablets, and lots of bang for the buck. You can pick em up cheap these days.

ATM, EVGA Tegra Note 7 is one of the better tablets. Runs Android, but has an NVIDIA Tegra GPU, which allows for Tegra enabled/accelerated games; something u can't do on most Android devices.

If a 7" screen is not enough for you; wait a little bit if u can. As the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 will be coming in July with very good bang for buck as far as price per specs when comapred to Google Nexus Tablets. Also look for newer Tegra-based Tablets coming out with the newer/faster Tegra K1 chips.
