Perixx mouse stopped working

Hi,

Have any of you encountered this problem? I'm running windows 8.1. My Perixx Perimice-307B mouse used to work great. But between 1 day and the next, my laptop stopped detecting any movement from it. All the button clicks are still detected, and the mouse still lights up in the right way. According to device manager, the mouse is detected and working normally + the drivers are up to date. But I can't move with my mouse. It's so frustrating. :(

Anybody know what's going on or how to fix it? Many thanks for any answers.

mouse should never need driver updates

try it on another pc, if its the same issue, it could be a dirty sensor
try cleaning it with a q-tip
or get a new mouse
