no
cpu is xxxxY = low power ver
no dedicated gpu (intel 4200 is the haswell igp)
4g of ram shared
120g ssd is kinda small for os and many programs

http://ark.intel.com/products/76611/Intel-Core-i5-4210Y-Processor-3M-Cache-up-to-1_90-GHz
cpu is bga, which is soldered on the mobo, not upgradable
dula core with ht, 1.5-1.9 turbo (not all cpus will hit max turbo)

if you want a gaming notebook with touchscreen
it will cost $1000+

Personally, I would just flat-out suggest not going for HP, they tend to manufacture bad/mediocre parts.

Even so, that doesn't seem too bad for $500, just don't expect to used such a PC for gaming. Even a desktop at $500 could not be a good gaming PC.

ehh, for even light gaming like the portal from 2007 it would most likely struggle a little so no.

are you looking for a tablet? Because the surface 2 pro is much better.
