Don't use the url in the address bar, please use the one directly above the parts list.

There isnt a partlist on there... It is the tool for creating a new partlist.

choose the pc
-because you can upgrade later

but its still quite powerful for a new build

if using a dedicated gpu, go with an i3 or haswell pentium g build
price will be about the same and much better cpu performance

if you do go the amd route, go with a am3 build, and avoid msi amd mobos

Let me put it to you this way... Unless you play sports games (nba2k, nhl, madden etc.) Get the computer. As others have said you can upgrade and generally gaming on a pc is the better experience. I own an xbox one and the only game that gets played on it is nba2k14.

That power supply is pretty good, but don't always listen to PC PartPicker's estimated wattage. Mine was around 380 Watts so I chose a 430W power supply that was 80+ certified but it didn't work. Now I have a Coolmax 700W Power Supply that is 80+ certified and it's doing me well so far. Try going for at least 500W. That is, if you choose the PC. I have both an Xbox One and a Gaming PC and they both are great. It's up to you!

Oh and keep in mind, if you already have a computer for internet browsing at home, just upgrade it. And if that computer is already decent then choose the Xbox One. Good Luck!

having an 80+ sticker doesnt always mean its a quality power supply
80+ just checks for efficency, not stability

if its something like this, think about a better psu

I would get an OS that is NOT oem. As OEM operating systems are made for manufacturers and you wouldn't get some forms of support from microsoft and would have less flexibility with your product key.

PC Part Picker only lets you pick OEM's but Amazon give you the full 8.1 for £5 more.

Can close/lock this thread; I've already helped him pick out something.

He's going with this config: £630.73

Little over budget, but he was willing to go with i5 now instead of getting i3 now and upgrade to i5 later. Overall decent I think for the pricing.
