I seriously doubt that the graphics card is the problem. It seems like the problem exists in the headset itself and doesn't have to do with your computer, it's possible that its battery is dying(rechargable batteries wear out over time).

It's the headset, it is a known issue that the USB connector goes bad over time.
They have a 3 year warranty so given the issue u are having, call Logitech Support and get it replaced, which they shouldn't have an issue doing.

When u go to charge this headset, plug it in and let it sit, DO NOT move it. Do not use it while it is charging. These two things are the easiest way to mess up the internal usb connector on this headset. They should last u all day and then some when charged, so there should really be no reason to plug-in to charge while u'r actively using them.

This is late on this post but I started having the same issue. For me I uninstalled the G software and the problem went away. I have been using them now for a couple of hours with no issue. Last night they were shutting down every 30min or so. Right in the middle of a song (Rocksmith) so really annoying. For me it is not a big issue as I dont use the G buttons but it does look like I have lost my surround sound. It used to be there before so I will see if I can get it back.

Hey folks just for info. Since I didnt want to believe it was software based I used my headset this morning with no issues for about 3 hours. Then later in the day came back to it, installed the software and was listening to music and surfing and my headset shut itself off in about 30min. I then again uninstalled the software and have been using it with no issues now again for hours.

I may try this at some point but i just got a new headset a while back. It would suck to lose the surround sound if this is the problem tough.

Will post if i try this later at some point, may take a while.
Thanks for posting even after such a long time. I hope it will work :D:

I have had 2 sets of Logitech G930s (I guess I never learn) and this problem is a pain in the ass, and both suffered from it. My advice is, when charging, unplug the reciever, this way the headset will shut down and receive a full charge. Remember, Even if your PC is turned off, it will most likely still supply voltage to the USB ports, keeping the receiver alive, and when faulty this triggers random on/off behaviour of the headset which means the next day you will NOT Have a full charge, since it's been actively draining whilst charging.
From my 2 experiences, I conclude that the LKogitech G930 is expensive junk. Avoid it.
