Really, really laggy. You won't enjoy it

You cant run it with 4 Gb of RAM, minimum requirement is 6, you would have out of memory errors and crash.
It would run like crap with this graphics card and CPU anyway.

why? my CPU runs at 3.3GHz. and im not looking for quality im looking for preformance. this one guy had 4gbs of ram and the game didnt crash for him but it does for me.

Yeah, this one guy... very plausible.
Your CPU and graphics card just about meet the minimum requirements and looks like Watch Dogs is unoptimized mess on top of that, people are already screaming to high heavens about crashes and running like crap on high performance rigs.
Lot of times when you run out of memory in games it doesnt even give you message about out of memory error, it will simply just crash to desktop, more then likely your 4 Gb of RAM is the cause of this.

I just gave u a simple and fast answer. 4 GB RAM was not the problem (you just close other applications and you should have really no problem running the game). The problem was the graphics card (it's a low-mid range one). You simply won't enjoy the game with this setup

i closed every non-important thing running in the background and the game still crashes. after i clear everything in the background i have only 5 things running taking up only 50mb of ram if not less. i have other people i know running the game with 4gb of ram and no crashing. do you think running it in windowed mode will fix this? And are they going to release a patch soon for more stable gameplay. im at the part where i have to stop a crime in action. i find the guy and then the game freezes when i get into a car and try to drive out of the parking lot.

Windows itself (7 at least) and steam will use around 1.5gb ram. That leaves 2.5gb for the game. It's not enough, really it isn't.

You won't run out of memory, but you will be absolutely killed by thrashing. Are you running on a hard drive or an SSD?

i didnt buy it through steam so i dont need steam running. Only uplay is running and like i said once i close all the non-important programs i only have 150Mb running in the background.

I was playing the hacked version on 4GB. It runs, but stutters a lot. Driving is almost impossible. Before my legit version unlocked, I ran to the store, bought another 4GB of RAM, now it runs MUCH better. Other info:

GPU - nVidia 560
CPU - Intel i7 - 3.4 Ghz quad core

I had 4 memory slots on my CPU, and 2x 2GB sticks. If you want to do what I did you need to make sure your RAM matches the following:

Voltage - This is the most important. Side of the RAM will say something like 1.5v.
Size - You don't want to mix 2GB and 4GB, etc.
Frequency - If you have 1333mhz, and you get 1600mhz, all your RAM will communicate at the 1333mhz speed. I'm told it can even cause other problems.
DDR - Match the DDR rating. DDR2 with DDR2, DDR3 with DDR3, etc.
Timing - This is the hardest to explain. The side of your ram will say something like 9-9-9-12, or 5-5-5-24 (often preceded by a CL). Try to match this as close as possible. Again, it might just slow down your RAM a little, but I've heard it can cause major problems.

Here's an article from an expert on mixing RAM: http://lifehacker.com/5598716/what-are-the-rules-on-mixing-two-different-types-of-ram

I know a tone about computers but you helped me! Also i have 4Gb 1333GHz ADATA, if i get a different brand of ram but the new brand is 4Gb 1333GHz, ill it work?
