What is PUP.optional.somoto?

Today i looked on my anti-virus and saw that it hasen't scanned for 2 days. I tried to do a quick scan and a full scan but it did nothing. I downloaded malwarebytes and tried a full system scan from there. It worked and when it finished all the things that were detected were PUP.optional.somoto. I looked this up and it sounded like quite an annoying virus. I don't want to get this again so how do i avoid this? What can cause this?

Just delete it with malwarebytes and ignore it until it pops up, if ever, again.

Is your anti virus just a anti virus or does it also have its own firewall and internet security system?
