SSHD WD Blue or Seagate?

I decided to buy a 1TB SSHD harddrive for my laptop. The thing is, I don't know anything about harddrives so I have no clue which one I should buy. I planned to buy the WD Blue or the Seagate from this review: http://www.storagereview.com/seagate_laptop_sshd_1tb_review
But then again, which one is best?

I want it to run well during 3D moddeling programs and heavy Photoshop files :)

Yes, SSHD better choice for laptops that don't allow multiple internal drives.
And when u need alot of internal space, but can't afford a large sized SSD.
Will be much better than non SSHD ones, such as WD Blue or WD Scorpio Black.

or look at a 480+g ssd for a laptop if you dont need alot of space
then use a nas or another desktop or cloud for shared space

most notebook sshd only have around an 8g ssd cache part

photoshop will love you if you use a ssd

Do you have a set budget? WD has a dual drive called the Black2. It is a seperate 120gb SSD and 1TB in one and only takes up one 2.5" hdd bay. So essentially it is two seperate storage drives in one bay. Unfortunate downside is that is costs quite a bit more than a hybrid drive, though it does cost less than some higher capacity SSDs.

This makes me doubt about my decision to buy an SSHD. Even though it's more expensive than SSHD, it doesn't cost thàt much... Thanks!

When I decided to buy the WD Black 2, I opened up my laptop to check if it would fit and there I found it... an empty space saying SSD. I thought my laptop was too old for that an extra SSD O.o Sooo now I went for the Samsung 850 EVO 250GB. I'm probably going to buy a new HDD too since my recent one is behaving really strange, but I want to test the SSD first :)

Yes, I have three of them in three different custom PC builds, my new rig, and two of my sons have rigs. the SSHD is great no issues. in all three cases Samsung 840 EVO or 850 Pros are the primary OS drives, with the SSHD used for games and programs.....no issues.

Just built my youngest a Skylake Z170 build last night with a cloned 850 Pro and same SSHD still in the tower.
