Xbox 360 keyboard for Steam?

Can I use the Xbox360 keyboard for the Controller with Steam? I want to play also on my TV with Steam and there I have no keyboard... And I dont want to buy one just to send it back.

Are u streaming to another system or just using your PC via TV?

Tastatur is made for Xbox360 as an adapater to allow KB & Mouse. So it serves no purpose on a PC; frankly u make no sense wanting to do that.

I want to use the TV as an extra screen and want to use as less cable as possible to connect them both, because they stand in different rooms. And in some cases Its easier to use a keyboard then the controler to write with friends or ingame.

Well the above adapter is for Xbox360 Console; so that won't even work for you.

Move the PC to the Living Room; or move the TV.

Otherwise then make a 2nd budget build u can actually put in the Living Room hooked up to the TV and then u can use your Keyboard / Mouse / Controller connected to the 2nd system your games are streaming to.

I wonder if you're referring to the XBox 360 controller's Chatpad addon when you say 'keyboard'... you know, this thing?

well I mean exact this chatpad. I hope it will work with Steam, because I don't like to switch between controller and normal keyboard for chatting
