Another option is used, something like a GTX 460 or better on ebay will be much faster than a gt 610 also. Just be careful when buying used stuff and avoid anything that the previous user has overclocked themselves.
Then go on Ebay and get at least a GTX 650 or 660
It'll at least be able to run most games on medium/high at 1080p
