What Part of a Case is usually unpainted?
I am planning to build my PC, and I want to ground myself, but I don't know where to touch my PC case where there is unpainted metal. Where are they usually located?

Just touch the metal of the PowerSupply
you have a metal window grill (part of house or part of pc case)?

any metal, the paint will conduct good enough to ground
if you are worried, put a standoff in the bottom corner of the mobo tray and touch that

Most quality cases have an anodized finish, not just a cheap painted method, so those u should have no problem grounding yourself.

Best way really is:
- If you're using a modular PSU, install it into your case first, but don't connect any of its modular cablesyet though, plug in the main power source cable and switch the PSU on. Now at anytime just touch the PSU outer metal casing and you're fine. That is the best ground source.
- If your PSU is not modular and thus doing the above could be a pain (as the cables will all most likely be in your way of easy install of the other parts) what u can do for that is just set the PSU on a table area, plug in the main power cable and switch the PSU on. Then as you are building, put one hand on the PSU casing and the other hand touch the inner metal area of your case as you're working.

Very simple.
