600w is fine as long as it is a decent 600w unit.

It`s 170W card, pretty much same as RX 580 so yeah it`s fine with 600W.

I see several legit sources for 550 watts minimum. Hopefully your psu is a decent one. You do not want to cut costs there

If its paired with an equivilent level cpu, you could run the system happily on a 250w psu, you'll likely only pull 150-200w while gaming.

What the local shop has just done has shown they have no idea how much power systems actually draw (everyone should own a power meter plug to see what they are using).

That said, psu's are most efficient at 50% load and most modern ones don't even turn their fan on below 50% load, so a reasonable 500w psu would be my recome station, if you have a 600w psu, you are good to go.

I pull around 330w with my 5900x and 4070 setup. And mine is only 30w more vs the 3060. So yeah a 600W PSU would be plenty.

Yeah, 600w will be plenty. My 3060ti pulls 220w and the whole system (i7 6700k) about 425w.
