You could open it and clean the dust. Maybe a significant amount of it blocks the air.
You can also do a repaste which can drop a couple degrees, depending on the state of the current one and what benefits a higher quality paste could bring.
Increased airflow through external means would also be an option. Or undervolting/underclocking which may decrease performance but yield better stable temps.
Ugh, I want to sell this laptop and get a proper PC or even a console that doesn't freaking overheat when playing a fourteen years old game.
Undervolt the CPU and/or GPU
I used to sit Laptops on a small elevated grill that was basically meant for putting on bread or cookies on after they come out of the oven; so they can cool properly before you bag them. This grill elevated the laptop while allowing proper breathing room for the cooling/venting.
Do you know what kind of screen is in it? Is it a 4K screen? 1440p screen?
Sorry for taking so long, my laptop actually froze completely when I undervolted my GPU too much, huh.
I'm not sure what to say there then. But in general laptops do run pretty hot. All components in laptops are designed to handle up to 100c easily. There's just not a lot you can do to get laptops cooler.
