I then flashed it. everything went ok. when i boot i now have the biggest Piece Of .... bios logo. someone at asus took five mins to make a logo for my motherboard. i know theres bios editors but i dont want to chance a 500 dollar mother board. what a way to crap a motherboard. thanks asus.

Why does it matter, you only see it few seconds when booting up the PC?

your right i was expecting asus quality, but they have gone downhill lately
there should be a configuration for disabling the logo. i can not tell you where it exactly, just that it should be somewhere in bios.
i have had to RMA the same motherboard 6 times with them to get one that worked and this is the issues you take to heart with lame ASUS??? wow.....get over your self....

in bios boot settings, disable the logo/splash
If I remember correctly on my ASRock board, there is an option of using higher resolution which makes the BIOS Splash logo/screen a lot smaller.

Which specific ASUS MOBO are we talking about here?
On Asus you can take a bios update and apply your own BIOS POST image. Even my Asus boards from 2010, 2012... do this
