Gaming + LiveStreaming at 720p or higher > i7
Are you noticing any stuttering or lack of smoothness during gaming?
if your streaming or recording/encoding, the i7 will help
but with the b75 board you cant overclock any cpu, why did you get the k instead of the 3470?
or not get a z77 board?
Hyper-threading is useful if you're into heavy multi-tasking or playing PC games while live streaming or running a lot of apps in the background, such as anti-virus, Skype, and software that records gameplay. Having hyper-threading may result in smoother gaming performance in these types of situations.
Both CPUs perform very similarly in games. If you aren't noticing any stuttering or lack of smoothness during gaming, then why not stick with your current CPU for now?
I just noticed that your motherboard doesn't have the Z77 chipset and that you chose a motherboard that uses a chipset that doesn't support overclocking. Why in the world did you do that?

Why make such a minor upgrade from the GTX 970 to GTX 980?
Explain to me why you feel the Core i5-3570K isn't good enough to meet your gaming needs.
