Sturdy Headset?
Allright. I really can't stand headsets which have the durability of a glass bottle. I need a headset which can last me a REALLY long time.

Now the headset can be wired/wireless, doesn't matter, and the sound quality isn't something that bothers me, as long as it plays sound. Now this is important. I need a Strong Headset, but I'd prefer if it can work with PC and PS4. I play daily on these platforms and having a headset which can work on both my PC and PS4 would make me happy (sort of frustrating having to work with two seperate headsets).

As for price, I'm willing to pay maybe $150. That's as high as I can go, maybe even a little higher. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

(Also, I looked at the Ear Force PX11 from Turtle Beach, the thing looks amazing, so if anyone can recommend any headsets like the PX11, that'd be great. Otherwise I'd go for the PX11 or maybe even the HyperX Cloud II)

Turtle beaches are budget all day. I've gone through a set replaced under warranty. Currently I'm using the HyperX Cloud II gaming headset. The frame and cones are stainless steel..well built for the price. Even the original Cloud I is a damn good headset. Prices range from $79 to $99 if you can find them in sale.

That is unless you want to unload a ton of money on Astros maybe, they're good though.

Thank you. After seeing some reviews, the HyperX Cloud II looks amazing, seems sturdy and works with both PC and PS4. You we're the final deciding factor in my choice. Thanks ;)
I've tried two sets of the lower end Turtle Beach and they're junk. They didn't function as intended or just plan flat out died after a short stint of time. I tried Turtle Beach for the little bit of online PS3 gaming I did with my younger brother and for use on the PC.

The PX21 - trash, broke after about 3 months and the right ear audio would cut in and out.
The PX22 (I got this on a good sale for about the cost of the PX21) was almost as bad. The control device on the cord, most functions didn't work. I could adjust the audio up and down and that was about it. The headset crapped out after about 6 months - no longer transmitted any audio.

Avoid Turtle Beach (at least the low-end models). It's $70 I won't ever get back, but I've learned my lesson.
This is what I use.[www.amazon.com]

Had it since early this year. Not sure if it's the most durable, but it sounds fantastic.

I've got the G35 (the wired version of what you have) from Logitech.

Issues I've come across on my G35:
1) If you're not in a cooler room, you can get a little sweaty wearing them.
2) The faux leather on the earpads have pretty much worn off and as well as the underside of the headpiece that rests on your head. The faux leather started to fall apart after about 2 years. I've had mine for just about 4 years now. They still work great, but that faux leather is all but gone on the earpads.
3) The headphones sometimes don't automatically change the speaker configuration to the headphones and mic when plugging them. You'll hear the Window's chime, detecting something was plugged into the USB, but the audio doesn't change over to the headphones like they should. I either unplug and reconnect them or change the default speaker settings in Windows.
4) With the headset software, you can change your voice to sound like an alien/squirrel and so on. I've had the mic get stuck on one of these settings and I had to reboot the computer to get it to reset (has happened a couple of times).
5) Extremely long cable if you go with the G35 model. Becareful and keep the extra slack tied up so it doesn't get caught under your chair wheel or you trip on it or a pet/kid trips on it.

Overall, they work well for for the roughly $70 they cost me back in the day. I just wish the faux leather was still intact and not leaving tiny pieces in my hair or stuck around my ears. The sound is okay for gaming headphones and the mic works well (has a red indicator light on it when the mic is muted). I'd say a 4 out 5 if I had to rate them.

Okay, so I couldn't get the HyperX Cloud II in my country, so I decided to check yours out, and it looks amazing. It's Dual Platform, has a noise-cancelling mic and is wireless, which is good, seeing all of my previous headsets broke because the cables got stuck on everything.
