xbox1 cant do real 4k anyway... only reason it has 1.4 hdmi is for blu rays,.... video card in xbox1 is weaksauce... when 4k is in the room.

Nope, that won't work... XB1 can not use a passive DisplayPort adapter... it must be an active adapter

PC should not use HDMI, cause u have to tinker with OverScan and that BS; something that is a non-issue when PC uses DVI or DP
HDMI does not overscan on a monitor.
Sorry to rez, but in reply no I didn't. Just bought a separate monitor for it.
that depends on the monitor and its settings, most will overscan by default
It is best to not bother using any adapters with regards to your Game Console.
If you have both HDMI & DP on your Monitor; then use DP for your PC.
