Seagate has higher failure rate then WD.

the WD blue series are good almost as good as the Black series but they just have a shorter warranty period
black series drives have a 5 yr warranty from date of MFG
blues i think its 2 or 3 yrs
If you are on a really tight budget then the WD Caviar Blue 1TB is just for you :)

If you want a basic 1TB model though, theres the 1TB WD Blue or the 1TB Seagate Barracuda. Either of those are good for a tight budget. I've used both and haven't had any issue with them.
WD Blue is only offered up to 1TB size; and Blue is offered in various models; such as 5400rpm vs 7200pm
I would always just buy WD Black or Red, depending on your needs.
Why anyone would waste their money on anything else.
WD Green is for general storage; do not use those to run your OS or installed Games off of.
Stay away from Seagate. Poor warranty and generally just poor drives in general.

Well I won't be getting a 4tb hard drive because I've only got $60 dollars to spend on a hard drive
Anyway, WD Blues are 7200RPM, miles ahead of my old 5400RPM Seagate 500GB, so it's definitely great for a budget builder.
