Considering PS4 is locked to 900p/30FPS for a lot of games... I think it's safe to say the laptop is stronger.
they have the desktop gtx 980 in laptops now, consider getting one of those.
Thanks for the response guys.

@ Riley: I've read that test, but it doesent tell me how the PC and the ps4 campares to each other.

@ Zombie cat: Yeah that would ofcourse be the best, but thats also wildley expensive! :)

See, the ting is I already have the laptop but I like playing online with my friends and they mostly have ps4s. Therefore I'm considering changing to the ps4 system for my gaming, but only if the ps4 isnt a noticable downgrade in quality and preformance.

Oh, and another thing I'm thinking about is the future. Will the laptop start to lag behind on games such as Fallout 4 and so on?

The PS4 will be a downgrade from PC in the vast majority of games. Even the cheapest gaming desktops are stronger. The laptop will be able to handle Fallout 4 easily, most likely.

I plan to get a PS4 eventually, but because of the exclusives. So it's not a total loss if you get a PS4 but don't expect it to be stronger.

Only reason I see to get the PS4 is for the exclusives, and maybe to game with friends incase they only have a ps4. But downgrade in graphics will occour. But a "casual" player won't really care about that. I think you are in good hands either way, PC and console is decent enough to game on. Cheers :)
