Ignore that part then.
My ears are one of the better parts of my senses.
There is a difference, don't think I'm saying there isn't. I'm saying it's quiet, even while sitting right next to it. If it's not you're using ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fans, or are hyper sensitive.
(The only fans I don't like are the little ones that squeal when at high speed.)
Arctic F12s.
And, where did I say they were silent? Lmao.
These ones have been running 100% for the past 3 or so years, while being powered on for about 10 hours a day.
I'm lazy, and I like my fans being used.
Not seen a noticable decrease in life from the average.
Only way I can see you would is if you don't clean your PC.
Hardly going to go deaf from a couple of fans producing a little noise. You don't freak out when a car goes by (at normal speeds) do you?
Funny I've been thinking about upgrading my CPU cooler as well. Just don't know if I want to spend the money I just dropped $90cnd on Elden Ring and I don't typically like to buy games at full price. $20-40 ish I like.
I was just playing around with you man, I do that sometimes no hard feelings.
$90 canadian? Did you buy a special edition?
It does look pretty bad ass though. FromSoftware games are so difficult. I wonder if it will be tamed down though do to its open world nature.
Yeah that is true. My bad. I don't live in Canada but I was actually born in Canada. I live on the border of Canada. Right across the border from Edmunston, NB. My Mom was Canadian(I say was because she passed away in 2004), and my Dad is American. I was born in Canada because it was the closest hospital, but I have lived in America my whole life, and have my US Citizenship. I am actually dual. I did play hockey in Canada my whole life growing up though, and my favorite team is the Montreal Canadiens, lol. They are having an awful year though, :(.
Sorry for your loss man, thats rough. I've not lost a parent yet I can't even imagine how difficult that is. Canada is pretty weird right now, house prices are through the roof, everything is super expensive, we're having a huge trucker protest at the Capital in Ottawa over wanting to end all Covid mandates, everything is messed up.
But at least we have gaming.
Thank you, it is rough.
But I hear ya. And yea I have seen those protests online. Causing major traffic jams huh? They are just parked, taking up all the highway right?
They basically clogged up the whole city + people showing up to protest I think there's over a million people there right now? Generated a lot of money too, I think over 9 million on Go Fund Me.
Wow. Like I said, I saw pictures of the convoy. Pretty amazing.
I have a Coole Master 212 Evo. It is on my i7 4770K build. It is adequate, a very good cooler. I was able to overclock my i7 4770K with it. But it is not as good a cooler as the Cooler Master MA620M. The i7 10700K is just another beast entirely. Runs hotter than a 4770K. For stock, the MA620M is fine, but when I want to overclock I am going to need an AIO. I wouldn't be able to overclock using the 212 either with the 10700K.
Edit; Well, I say the MA620M is better, but it is hard to tell. I am only able to have one fan with the MA620M, and replacing it would be a pain. So you are right about the 212 being cheaper and less problematic. But the MA620M is a really good cooler for just being an air cooler, and looking at benchmarks it is hard to tell which is better. I do have two fans on my 212 which adds to its performance. If I was able to put an extra fan on my 620M I am sure it would perform even better. Unfortunately, because of how it is built, it is impossible to do so.
my rear 140mm is a noctua industrial grade 3000rpm i run @1400rpm moves a ton
of air have had 1 fan failure(rattled) in 9 years running 3 builds the same way.
its much easier to keep cool than cool down.
and for the record i used corsair in all builds (high static)but my current build i used these
PC COOLERS best fans ive ever used using on both intake and radiator cant give
enough praise great quality and quite.

These fans look awesome. Pretty good price as well. They are of good quality you say? They aren't cheaply made?
