If the PSU doesn't have a spare 6pin PCI-e cable it will already not work, the 1650 needs a 6pin cable.
Hopefully that links works - How do I remove the PSU? I can't access the screws on the left. Again, novice here, so apologies.

The question now is, will it handle a GTX 1650? Probably not???
So, in a nutshell, you're saying I could upgrade to the GTX 1650 without changing the power supply?
I don't know what TDP exactly is, but I have used a few 'power supply calculators' and yeah there's pretty much no difference when I select the 1050 or the 1650. I only have an i5-8400, 16gb ram, 1tb hdd, and a few fans, so maybe it will be okay then.
