Oculus go + PC = ?

Hi everyone. I am looking forward to buy an oculus go for my gaming rig. I also have a few questions.

1. Does the Oculus go work on PC?
2. Do you need software to run the Oculus go on a PC if it doesn't work?
3. What specs do you need for the Oculus go?
4. Where do I buy the Oculus go?
5. How much is it?

I will be giving my specs for question #3:

CPU: Intel core 15-9400f
RAM: 16GB DDR4
GPU: Msi 1660 Twin frozr 7
OS: Windows 10
Motherboard: TUF H310-PLUS GAMING
Bluetooth?: Yes
Storage in D: drive: 1TB.

I'll tackle #3, although I the CPU falls ever so slightly off, you should be good. Steam has a VR tester that tells you how ur PC would perform when playing VR, run it and see for yourself :)

5. my friend bought it for about ~ 200 usd in japan. it worked with hl: alyx and pavlov vr without any issues. you could probably find it ~ 200 - 400 usd on amazon

pc specs are not really important: 16 gb ram is min if you don't to to have lag or low fps,. but you can play with 8 gb ram too with low performance

Can the Oculus Go Connect To PCs?
The Oculus Go can be connected to PCs, but only for the transfer of files. You cannot connect it and play like you can with the Oculus Rift.

Can the Oculus Go Play PC Games?
The short answer is no. You cannot connect the device and play PC games. However, there are some games that are available on both PC and the Oculus Go, which you can access via the store.

1. Oculus Go, can transfer files that's it.

2. No because it's purely a standalone unit, can't use PC game with Oculus GO. Only Oculus rift, Quest, and quest 2 has the option to connect to PC to play PC games.

3. If you want to use with PC get rift, quest or quest 2 instead, and you will need to use Oculus link cable, or usb type C cable to USB type C both ends, if you gotten either quest, or quest 2.

4. Oculus Go been discontinued. So eBay, or whatever place that may still be selling it.

5. It was to be sold for around $200 USD. For $100 more you can get a better VR headset the Quest 2, it's a no brainer on this, just get the quest 2, as there no point grabbing Oculus GO at all. As both can be standalone, while Quest 2 can connect to your PC to play PC version of games you on PC, and the fact Quest 2 has better specs.
