XEOX Pro Analog Gamepad on Steam Link

Yesterday I got my Steam Controller and Steam Link, so far I'm very happy with it. I also used an Xbox like controller from SPEEDLINK ( http://www.speedlink.com/?pid=25492 ) . I tried to connect it to the Steam Link as second controller with X-input but it doesn't seem to work.

Is there any chance Valve will support this controller in the future on the Steam Link? On my Windows system I had to install a driver for the controller but I bet the Steam Link software is not compatible with the driver.
