is GTX 960 2GB ok for gaming?
So I bought a new rig, now I'm choosing the GPU. I had settled for GTX 960, until I just saw Assassin's Creed Syndicate requires at least 4GB of Vram. And the same goes for GTA V.

I'm going to be playing at 1366*768 resolution, so will that card be enough for at least 2~3 years for gaming at medium settings and getting a constant 30FPS that doesn't go below 20FPS?

I might replace my current i3 4150 with an i5 4400, and maybe add another 8GB ram later on (To make a total of 16GB)

Do you think this will be a good enough system to run games at +30 FPS @720p resolution?

Do you think I should go for an i5 4440? or is i3 4150 is sufficient enough? Because right now most games that I play never exceed 80% of core usage, Even when recording. So is it worth it or not?

And if the GTX 960 isn't good enough, will GTX 970 4GB good?

Thanks!

So if you upgrade to a GTX 970 now and keep the i3, a few CPU bottlenecks might occur. If you start seeing CPU bottlenecking in high-end games, then upgrade to the Xeon or i7-4790 later on. However, if you play games like GTA V and Star Wars Battlefront, then the CPU should be given higher priority. In that case, the Xeon E3-1231 V3 and R9-380 just might work for you.
the i7-4790 costs $364 so I won't be able to get that. As I said, I most probably will get a i5 4440, my budget doesn't go as high as an i7,and it would be years before it does. So I think GTX 970 + i5 4440 it is.

The i5 is perfectly fine, theres no need for a Xeon or an i7
i7s offer barely if any benefit when it comes to gaming, only apps that make use of HT will see any difference.

Games are loving more VRAM nowa days, regardless of the Resolution thats why i suggested the 4GB 960. Even with a lower resolution you could crank up the graphics and the only problem you may have is the 2GB VRAM limit, with 4GB you have more to work with.

As stated above, the GTX 960 4 GB version will work best. The 4 GB version has the same "3.5 GB bug" which exists in the GTX 970, but at 1080p resolution, it should not matter much. Plus, it's easier on the PSU than the R9-380. Pair it up with an i5 and call it a day. How about this?

the Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz cost as much as an INTEL Core i5-4690k Processor meaning $271. So I would go for the k version because hey, it has better performance, will last longer and is an unlocked version. then I won't have enough cash to buy a GTX 960.
So for future reference, here is where I'm going to buy from:

Unlocked CPU only makes sense if you have a Z97 motherboard. If you are running H97, B85 or H81 motherboard, might as well go with the 4690 non k, which has the same clock speeds and will last just as long. Its usually cheaper, even in india.

If you can't afford both CPU and the graphics card then make the graphics card your priority. It sounded like from one of your earlier posts that you are still using the onboard hd 4400.

Yes, I am still using the onboard HD 4400.
Non-K version (Of i5 4690) is about 15 dollars more expensive than the "K" version -_-. And Intel E3-1245 v3 Xeon is about 25 dollars more expensive than the i5 4690K. So I guess you understand that if I do buy an i5, I'll go for an i5 4440, as it is the cheapest i5 processor available. And I also found a really good 5 month old With warranty and bill GTX 970 for $316, saving me about $84, which I'll now spend on getting an i5 4440.
BTW, Do you think i should buy this card:

Is this the zotac one?

Also, you need to be sure that a GTX 970 and i5 will run on your 450w PSU. Since the new CPU will use more power than the old one as well.
