Your post is vague and points to power usage vs your battery has degraded and does not take a full charge.
You should stop short charging it and let it discharge to %50ish then try fully charging it a couple times.
Discharge and battery health are two very different things.
Ps, battery health should not go down %1, period, after 2 months.
Keeping a phone on the charger long after its been fully charged can affect battery life
But it could also be a learning curve for the phone
no idea
And with how Lithium and Lipo batteries work, its fact not fiction.
And with that said, its a fact that Laptop batteries do run into issues if they are plugged in all the time and not allowed to discharge. So its possible for phone batteries to run into the same thing "At some point", not necessarily for brand new devices but you never know.
That aside
i only mentioned it as a POSSIBILITY i wasnt saying that was in FACT the cause, considering i dont like iphones and would never use one thus i have no experience with its battery performance over time.
or did you miss where i mentioned the learning curve?
And "No idea"
Oh..
And Phones dont stop getting power at 100%, the power draw simply reduces to a couple mA's but its still having a charge put into it even if it is a very small amount. Feel free to test this with a USB meter, something i use Daily for testing 18650's, USB Power banks and Chargers..
One thing i just thought about though
Is the OP using an Apple OEM Charger/Cable or a 3rd party? The XR doesnt come with a power adapter, only the cable.
THAT could in fact cause battery issues.
