GPU? also are you using HDMI?
can you go into Nvidia settings and confirm its using RGB Full, and not set to Limited mode.
Limited (16-235)
Full (0-255)
should be under resolutions tab. Display -> Change resolution?
try these steps
1. Go to "Nvidia control panel"
2. Under "VIDEO" go to "Adjust Video Color Settings"
3. Under Point 2 select "With the NVIDIA settings"
4. Go to "Advanced" and look for "Dynamic Range" where you can change it between "Limited" (16-235) and Full (0-255)
try these also "Dynamic contrast enhancement" and "Color enhancement" you can fiddle with.
these settings dont seem do change much. also i noticed if i tweak contrast on monitor it barely changes what is rather weird
Can you take a screenshot of what you're trying to explain as in "Too dark"
also are you sure you've checked ALL of your monitors settings? i too use a samsung and there is options for "HDMI Black Levels" there is also another setting called "Black Tone" << can be switched from normal, dark, darker, darkest. there is also "Dynamic Contrast" all of these can effect black levels.
look right from player and his weapon. it's way too dark. it's barely visible. and i know how it looks cuz i've played this many times b4 i got this monitor today. on yours it will look as expected, on mine it looks 2dark
theres got to be a setting you're missing with your monitor itself. when i first got mine i too had to adjust it for the proper black levels / contrast.
LOL. you're using VGA? you need HDMI or display port.
Using a VGA cable is not good for this high a resolution. You should use a DVI or HDMI, DisplayPort cable (a digital connection). You are using an analog connection with the standard VGA cable, even with a DVI adapter. Not optimal and can cause some of your color issues.
what about DVI? does your GPU / Monitor support DVI?
your gpu should have DVI connectors. that should work fine aslong as your monitor has support for DVI.
