Logitech F710 on Windows 10 - Solution if not in Device Manager
I see some threads on this already, but they are only solved for when it shows up in Device Manager.
I just had this on a new Windows 10 build, where it worked fine for a while, then disappeared from Device Manager, and so I had to go on a journey to find another way.
Is almost the same, but I thought I'd share the minor extra info about where you can then find it instead.

BACKGROUND:
First time use I needed no added drivers, played GTA for an hour with it. Next boot I installed Logitech Profiler to overcome the warning in Device Manager and get it working again. But 3 or 4 boots later, it disappeared from there. Seemingly (it was actually under HID's I realised later).

SOLUTION:
- Check the Devices and Printers, and hopefully it will be at the bottom as a generic, unrecognised HID device. Though correctly named as Logitech Rumblepad... something.
- From there, do that same as if in Device Manager: right click, go to Properties, Update Driver, and Let Me Choose From list.
- Unselect the Show Compatible box if getting no options (I only had a single generic USB/HID driver), and then find the Logitech driver (Cordless Rumblepad 2 for F710, or just Rumblepad for F310 I guess) or Xbox 360 driver.
[[EDIT] - Use Xbox 360 driver!!!]
- Driver is unsupported, so Yes to install anyway, and done.

In Devices and Printers it shows as a Wireless Gamepad F710.
In Device Manager it shows as an Xbox 360 controller. No mention of Logitech.

Note that I stayed with the Logitech driver, which the Profiler may have left behind (was uninstalled by now). So if you dont have Logitech options, that could be why. Just use Xbox 360 instead.
I might go back and change to Xbox driver if problems occur, but according to Windows 10, Xbox driver is just as unsupported as the Logitech driver.
I've had half a dozen successful shut down and restarts today without issue though. Fingers crossed it lasts.
And when the thing did work on that first day, the triggers were only seen as buttons, but now they're all analog. So Assetto Corsa is much easier. :)
[[EDIT] - Problems occured. Soon after a fresh start up had Windows boot to a blinking white screen, and I had to force restart using the case button. Next restart was smooth, and device back in Manager with a warning. Windows 10 knew what the problem was.
From Device Manager have now installed the Xbox drivers, which were on the list this time. This time had to okay the install for trusted driver but unknown compatibility with the device. Slightly different than before. Fingers crossed again.]

CONCLUSION:
Unsupported drivers cause Windows 10 to uninstall and hide things it doesn't trust?
[[EDIT] - Windows 10 knows what it's doing. Hurry up and get a driver Logitech.]
